The rising popularity of newspapers and the everyday printing of these communication magazines led to the emergence of a new urban figure: the newspaper vendor. This new trade later resulted in the appearance of sales outlets: kiosks, which significantly altered the landscapes of large cities such as Paris.

PRINTS

The invention and innovation of printing laid the foundations for subsequent technical advances that transformed the paper industry. The introduction of steam-powered presses in the 19th century greatly increased the speed and output of printed documents. As a result, dissemination-related activities: such as the production of books, notebooks, and newspapers, emerged. These forms of production, dedicated to dissemination and transmission, also contributed to the emergence and development of technical machinery specifically designed for bookbinding.

However, printing was not limited to the spread of knowledge and the popularization of information. It also gave rise to a new wall covering technique, known as wallpaper.
